Tai Chi

This is the view from my aunt’s apartment in Singapore. Almost every weekday morning, I could see this group of women doing their Tai Chi exercises. Tai Chi is a Chinese form of exercise that uses slow, meditative and controlled movements.

The tropical greenery around them enhanced my enjoyment of the scene.

fruit tea caramel tea

As an avid tea drinker, I’m also always on the look-out for flavored teas, besides plain black tea.

I found two recently. One was Akbar’s mixed fruit flavored tea. It has a refreshing taste, and I can taste a hint of banana and mango. Personally, though, I prefer a single fruit flavored tea such a strawberry or mango tea.

The other is the caramel flavored tea. As crème caramel is one of my favorite desserts, I have no trouble at all enjoying the caramel taste.

I requested another tea drinker to taste both teas, and his preference was the fruit flavored tea for its subtle fruity taste.

This pelican was not afraid of people. He was drawn to the part of the pier where folks were fishing. Curious to see what was the catch of the day.
